National Organ Donor Day celebrations 2025

National Organ Donor Day celebrations were organized by the Organ Transplant Unit of Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital, with Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Dr. Harini Amarasuriya as the chief guest. International Womans Day Celebration 2025

To commemorate International Women's Day on March 8, a delightful celebration was organized on March 7 at the hospital premises by a group of women working at the Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital. What made this event unique was that all contributions and participation were exclusively by women.

Activity Center for MD Paediatric Clinic Opening

The opening of the new Activity Center for Multi Disciplinary Paediatric Clinic conducted by Dr.Roshini Karunanayake, Paediatrician - SJGH was held on 07th March 2024. SJGH Director, Dr. Rathnasiri A. Hewage was the chief guest, along with honoured guests Dr. Medha Weerasekara and Dr. Sanjeewani Rupasinghe as well as SJGH Staff and Invitees.
