Dr.Dimuthu Muthukuda heads the Endocrine Unit of SJGH. It caters to all types of endocrine diseases including complex and rare diseases. Endocrine disorders (thyroid / adrenal/ pituitary/ calcium & bone/ obesity/ reproductive/ growth & development related disorders)

Dr.Lalitha Piyarisi joined Sri Jayawardenepura General Hospital in 2000. He has worked as a board certified Consultant Surgeon for the past 31 years.He has worked in General Hospitals in Anuradhapura and Matara, and also Teaching Hospital Karapitiya in Galle. He obtained his overseas training at Taunton & Somerset Hospital - UK and Whittington Hospital - UK. He was a memeber of the General Committee, College of Surgeons. He is also a board member of SJGH.

She joined SJGH in 1998. She has been a Board Certified Consultant for past 13 years. She has obtained her overseas training from St. Vincent-s Hospital, Melbourne Australia. She was the Assistant Secretary in 2012/2013 and currently a committee member of Sri Lanka College of Dermatologists. She is a member of the Board of Study in Dermatology. She has won the Douglas Gunewardena Gold Medal for the Best Research paper in 2006 presented at the Annual Academic Session of Sri Lanka Association of Dermatology. The medal was awarded for a research paper done on leprosy.

He joined SJGH in 1995. He has been a Board Certified Consultant for past 28 years. He has worked at General Hospital Ratnapura and Teaching Hospital Karapitiya. He obtained his overseas training from Tennents Institute Glasgow and Western Infirmary Glasgow. He served as a President of College of Ophthalmologist of Sri Lanka -2006, SAARC Ophthalmology Congress-2014 and Regional Secretary - APAO from 2010 to date.

Dr. Shemoon Marleen recently joined SJGH, and is the Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist of Ward 09. Her unit offers care to patients with various gynaecological issues as well as the obstetric services for pregnant mothers. 

He joined SJGH in 1997. He has been a Board Certified Consultant for past 18 years. He obtained his overseas training from Queen's Hospital Romford, Essex UK (Essex Center for Neurosciences). He is the Secretary of National Stroke Association and convenor of SLMA Expert Committee on Disability Healthcare. He has to his credit several scientific publications and presentations at National and International level.

Dr. Harshani D. Perera is a highly skilled and experienced, board-certified nephrologist since 2018, dedicated to providing comprehensive care and specialized treatment for patients with kidney conditions. She graduated from Faculty of Medicine Kelaniya with first class and distinctions in Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Pathology and Surgery. She pursued MD in Medicine from PGIM at University of Colombo with subsequent post MD training in Nephrology at SJGH and overseas training at Imperial Healthcare NHS Trust London–United Kingdom. Before joining SJGH, she has worked as Consultant Nephrologist at National Nephrology Specialized Hospital Polonnaruwa 2020-2023. She had been pioneered in establishing renal services and dialysis facilities at DGH Negombo. Dr. Harshani is actively involved in research and keeps abreast of the latest advancements in nephrology and transplant medicine.

He has been a Board Certified Consultant for past 15 years. He has worked at Provincial General Hospital - Badulla before joining SJGH. He obtained his overseas training from Freeman Hospital, UK. He is a member of Sri Lanka Heart Association. He has won Dr. P. T. de Silva Gold Medal for Clinical Medicine and published Percutaneous Coronary intervention in Vein Graft Disease (Essential Interventional Cardiology).

Board certified surgeon since 2011. Received special training in esophageal pancreatic and hepatobiliary surgery in Sir charles gardener Hospital perth Australia. Interest in hepatobiliary, pancreatic esophageal, colorectal and endocrine surgeries (Thyroid, Breast, adrenal and salivary).to the hospital.

She joined SJGH in 2008. She has been a Board Certified Consultant for past 17 years. She worked at Base Hospitals, Kalmunai South, Karawanella and General Hospital Kegalle. She obtained her overseas training from Oldchurch Hospital, UK. She was a Council member of College of Anaesthesiologists of Sri Lanka, an Examiner of Part IAAnesthesiologist 2014 and the Secretary of Clinical Society of Sri Jayewardenepura General Hospital for 2012, 2013.
